1,12, 000 cusec water enters Tehsil Tamboo
TAMBOO Aug 27 (PPI): One lakh twelve thousand cusec flood entered Tehsil Tamboo from Kachhi and Nari Bank via River Qabola. It inundated dozens of villages and hundreds of people were stranded in flood water.
According to details a big flood with 1, 12, 000 cusec of water entered Tehsil Tamboo form River Nari Bank. Pressure of flood water breached River Qabola at several points and submerged dozens of villages. Thus hundreds of villagers were stranded in flood water. A rescue operation has been undertaken to shift them to safer places. But due to dislocation of communication there are difficulties in relief activities in Tehsil Tamboo.
Provincial Minister Muhammad Amin Umrani has rushed to the area and started supervision of relief activities.
