26 Afghanis sentenced to jail
QUETTA: Twentysix illegal Afgh-an immigrants have been  sentenced to prison terms to two months rigorous imprisonment each under Foreign Act-1946.
The Afghan nationals had crossed the border and entered into
Pakistan territory without any legal documents through Baloc-histan’s bordering areas, on Monday. They wanted to proceed to Iran via Taftan border.
Police arrested the Afghans and produced them for trial before Judicial Magistrate and Civil Judge Taftan, Asadullah Raisani on Tuesday who sentenced them to jail terms of two months RI with fine of Rs1000 each under Foreign Act-1946. APP
