36 transformers burnt by heavy rains, load
NASIRABAD Aug 29 (PPI): Due to sever rains and increased load 36 transformers were burnt in Dera Murad Jamali. Thirty of these were replaced by new one owing to personal efforts of provincial minister Sadiq Umrani while work on others was underway.
According to details electricity load was increased due to arrival of thousands of flood affectees from Sindh and Jaffarabad and torrential rains more than 36 transformers were burnt and Dera Murad Jamali plunged into dark.
PPP parliamentary leader and provincial minister Sadiq Umrani got approval for new transformers for Dera Murad Jamali. Thirty of these were replaced by new one while installation of others was going on.
