Balochistan is a huge territory located in Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan. As a result of the "great game", Balochistan was divided between those countries in the 19th century by the British. Despite the size of its territory and relatively large population, the Baloch do not enjoy even limited cultural freedom. The governments of the countries where the Baloch live are not interested in allowing the Baloch economical, culture and language to develop.
In Pakistan, Balochistan is geographically the largest province, however it is the most exploited province, and the least developed. The illiteracy rate is catastrophically high and there is no infrastructure. There are gas reserves, which supply most of Pakistan with its energy, and a sparse enough population to make it a viable location for nuclear tests, neither of which the local population receive any benefit from. THE EARLY HISTORY OF THE BALOCH IS LARGELY UNKNOWN.ACCORDING TO THE EPIC TRADIATION OF THE BALOCH THEMSELVES,THEY ARE OF ARABIC ORIGIN AND MIGRATED FROM ALEPPO IN SYRIA AFTER THE BATTLE OF KARBALA,WHERE,DESPITE BIENG MIANLY SUNNI MUSLIMS,THEY FOUGHT ON THE SIDE OF THE SHI'A MUSLIM IMAM AND MARTYR HUSSIEN.EVEN IF THESE LEGENDS MUST BE SERIOUSLY QUESTIONED THEY MAY AT LEAST CARRY SOME TRUTH IN THEM.LINGUISTIC EVIDENCE RATHER INDICATES THAT AT LEAT THE CORE OF THE BALOCH ARE OF INDO-EUROPEAN ORIGIN.IT IS,HOWEVER,TOTALLY CLEAR TAHT THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS "THE BALOCH RACE".AMONG THE BALOCH ONE FINDS A RANGE OF PHYSICAL APPEARANCES FROM VERY FAIR SKIN TO TOTALLY NEGROID.THUS,WHATEVER WAS THE ETHNIC ORIGIN OF THE BALOCH FROM THE BEGNINIG,IT IS OBVIOUS THAT THEY HAVE INCORPORATED PEOPLE AND GROUPS OF DIFFIRENT ORGINS INTO THIER ETHNOS,IT IS POSSIBLE TAHT THE ORIGINAL HOME OF THE BALOCH WAS SOMEWHERE IN THE CENTRALL CASPIAN REGION,AND THAT THEY THEN MIGRATED SOUTH-ESIA.
