Balochistan Customs Clearing Agents Association meets
QUETTA July 27 (PPI): Customs Clearing Agents are backbone about international commercial affairs and they are the main source of revenue for the country. Unfortunately Customs Clearing Agents are being treated step motherly treatment in the country particularly in province of Balochistan in view of its backwardness and smuggling.
This was stated by President of the association while addressing a crowded meeting here Tuesday. Senior Vice President Farman Ali Mirza and Customs Clearing Agents working at Customs stations and Dry Ports attended in large numbers.
He said number of customs clearing agents at the licencing examination was much higher than previous years but result was not declared. There is already shortage of clearing agents licences in the province. He said business of customs clearing agents will provide employment to unemployed and literate people.
He appealed to Chairman FBR Sohail Ahmad, Member Customs Munir Qureshi, and Chief Collector Sindh-Balochistan Nawaz Khan and Collector Customs Balochistan Hafiz Matiullah to immediately issue licences to those who took up examination on July 15 so that legal trade gets boost.
