Body formed to resolve differences among students
QUETTA: The University of Balochistan (UOB) administration has formed a committee comprising representatives of
provincial parties aimed at resolving the prevailing differences between the students’ organizations in the province, UOB administration sources told here APP on Sunday.
The academic activities have remained suspended in the university and Bolan Medical College (BMC) since Oct 15 over written tests of NTS scholarship programme in the premises of UOB.
The committee members will probe into the causes of the closure since October 15 and the prevailing situation rose after the incident in educational institutions in Balochistan. Then, the committee will resolve the issues among students’ organizations, the sources said.
They said that a meeting in this regard was held under chairmanship of vice chancellor UOB Dr Masoom Yasinzai which reviewed the overall situation in the varsity and BMC in the wake of the October 15 incident.
