CM orders ban on movement of Atta, wheat trucks at night
QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Muhammad Aslam Raisani has ordered imposing ban on the movement of trucks carrying wheat and atta in the border areas. Whether these vehicles carry permits, these will not move at night in border areas and atta and wheat would be confiscated  in favour of state.
He issued this order while speaking with delegations during his visit to Pishin Monday.
he told that 100 percent quota of wheat would be provided for Pishin and Killa Abdullah while earlier 50 percent quota was being supplied.
He said he was not chief minister of any particular area but servant of whole  of Balochistan and this is the reason he has started mass contact drive from Pishin. To him all are equal and balanced development process has been initiated in every part of the province.  All the MPAs have been provided equal development funds.
While expressing his anger, Chief Minister directed Food Department and district administration to take strict action against flour mills supply below quality atta and no pressure should be sustained. He also called for a report after inspection of flour mills.
He told delegations that there is electricity crisis in entire country and zamidnars in the province were badly affecting. Government was making an agreement for supply of electricity from Iran. Hopefully practical work would be undertaken for supply of electricity.
He told we are practical people and donot believe in lip service. We prepare our policies keeping in vie ground realities. We are busy for the rights of people over their resources and oil and gas exploration in some parts of the province was underway. He said federal government has accorded approval for one hundred small dams in the province.
He has held talks with ministry of interior for revival of Levies and it is hoped they would accept our demand.
On the complaint of the delegations, Chief Minister issued orders for ensuring peace in the area.
