Edhi Center robbed, looted in Quetta
QUETTA: Three armed suspects robbed charity cash, officials’ amount and other valuables of the main provincial Edhi Center
and badly damaged the office here in broad daylight, Edhi Center Balochistan official Javed told APP on Sunday.
He said that that three armed dacoits entered the main Edhi Center about 10:00 a.m., two of the dacoits held the Edhi drivers, employees
and volunteers hostage on gunpoint and the third one collected the
charity amount and emptied the pockets of the employees and took away amounting about Rs 72,000, eight mobile phones and three watches.
Before fleeing from the scene, the armed dacoits damaged the telephone and wireless set lines of the office and smashed the windows
of the center.
Later, Airport police station’s officials visited the Edhi Center
and inspected the losses. They have registered a case against unknown dacoits and started investigation.
