Nawab Bugti’s 4 th death anniversary observed
QUETTA Aug 26 (PPI): Fourth death anniversary of veteran politician president Jamhoori Watan party, former Balochistan Governor, ex Chief Minsiter and former Defence Minsiter was observed with respect all over Balochistan Thursday.
They day was marked with shutter down and wheel jam in different districts of the province. Black Day and Mourning Day was also observed.
In Quetta, a shutter down was observed and main shopping centres remained closed. Wheel could not jam but there was thin traffic on the roads. All the educational institutions remained closed. There was thin attendance in offices and banks.
JWP workers marched on city roads and forced shopkeepers to close their shops in Kandahari bazaar. It caused panic and fear among the people.
Wheel Jam and shutter down was also observed in Mastung, Noshki, Kalat, Kharan, Dera Bugti, Surab, Wadh, Hub and other areas.
In Khuzdar, Naal, and other areas compelte shuter down and wheel jam was observed on eve of fourth death anniversary of Nawab Bugti. Important business centres, medical stores, banks, educational institutions, remained closed. There was thin attendance in offices. It caused problems for the people. Roads were deserted owing to wheel jam.
Heavy contingents of police and FC were deployed in the city to meet any untoward incident. Police patrolled the city areas during the day.
In Awaran, miscreants torched PTCL cabinet. Hundreds of phones were silent and people’s telecommunication links with other parts was disconnected.
