QUETTA Oct 1 (PPI):   Federal Rulers would never place Frontier Corps under the control of Chief Minister because FC has turned into a mafia.
This was stated by President Jamhoori Watan Party Talal Bugti here Friday.
He said there are ¾ gas fields in Sui Dera Bugti paying billions of Rupees in the name of security to the security forces. FC check posts  exist from Quetta to Chaman and from  Quetta to Taftan receiving billions of Rupees as gratification.  Due to their bhatta khori, country was deprived of billions of Rupees revenue. Atta, ghee, sugar and other food items and cattle heads were being smuggled  to neighbouring country and weapons, arms and ammunition, drugs  and similar goods were being smuggled into Pakistan. It was creating price spiral in our country. There is sufficient quality of arms and ammunition in the country deteriorating law and order situation.
He said under these circumstances, placing FC under the control of Chief Minister. If Chief Minister creates no hurdle in bhatta receiving, may be security forces are placed under his control.  But he added in his view rulers were not in mood to do the same.
