Raisani orders for strict action against wheat flour hoarders
QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Nawab Aslam Khan Raisani on Tuesday directed the officials concerned to take stern action against wheat flour hoarders and ensure availability of quality and adulteration-free flour on reasonable rates at fair price shops.
Chairing a high level meeting here the CM directed the law enforcing agencies to strictly monitor the borders and ensure check on wheat flour smuggling to the neighboring countries. He also directed for halting the movement of trucks loaded with flour especially in Qila Abdullah, Chaman, Pishin and Zhob and said that the government would take strict action against those traders who are involved in hoarding in order to create artificial wheat flour crisis in the province.  The CM appreciated the performance of employees of the provincial Food Department and asked them to continue monitoring quality and prices of flour in fair price shops. Provincial minister for Food Mir Maddad Ali Jattak, Secretary Food and other senior officials attended the meeting.
