Situation in Balochistan getting out of hands
The government seems totally helpless in controlling the worsening law and order situation in the province. Despite the fact that chief minister Balochistan Nawab Aslam Raisani has obtained a lots of incentives from the center to pacify the nationalists and the armed groups operating in Balochistan. Recently the federal government had written off Balochistan’s OD as a goodwill gesture while a number of development projects are also underway to remove the sense of deprivation of people of the province. However, there seems no let up in the incidents of target killing, bomb blasts, grenade attacks, and blowing up of gas pipelines and railway tracks. Incidents of sectarian killings have emerged as new phenomena, which are adding fuel to the fire while pushing the province towards civil war. The statistics show that in a month alone more than a dozen people including security personnel have been killed in incidents of target killings and attacks on security forces in different parts of Balochistan including Quetta, Mastung, Dera Bugti and Mashkay areas. Bomb blast that took place in Mastung a few days back claimed one life and inuring at least 13 security men. In Dera Bugti blast 8 people had been wounded, three sustained injuries in a hand grenade attack in Quetta. Four policemen also lost their lives in an attack on a police vehicle in the provincial capital. A bank manager and leader of Hazara Democratic Party Hussein Yusufi were also shot dead in broad day light in Quetta that caused extreme tension in the city on sectarian lines. While incidents of blowing up of gas pipelines, electricity pylons, railway tracks and attacks on government installations have also inflicted heavy financial losses to the province, which is already facing financial crunch. Situation has reached to the point that even a UNHCR high officials has been kidnapped in broad day light in Quetta and his drive has been brutally murdered. Though, the government is fully alive to the gravity of situation and making strenuous efforts to overcome the rising tide of terror in the province. But, it has miserably failed to provide security of life and property to its citizens and crushing the rising tide of terror. The CCPO Quetta the other day had warned in a press conference that law breakers would be shot dead on the crime scene but this warning also bore no fruit. On political front the nationalist groups have embarked on an aggressive strategy to press the government to meet their demands. A group of MPAs, calls itself Independent Group, in the provincial assembly boycotted the assembly sitting while demanding immediate recovery of a Baloch women Zarina Marri allegedly taken away by the security forces. The group also threatened to resign from the assembly membership if debate on this issue was not allowed. Nationalist parties also protested and took out rallies all across the province and demanded early recovery of Zarina Marri. A leading newspaper of Sri Lanka has noted in its editorial that India is manipulating the situation by supporting the separatist groups in Balochistan and wanted to separate this province. Government has also raised fingers in India saying she was providing funds and weapons to these groups. However, the armed groups operating in the province deny these claims and say their struggle was indigenous in nature and will continue until independence of Balochistan. The situation in the province seems getting out of hands, and the province seems drifting towards complete chaos with every passing day. Target killings of settlers and others who dare to differ the armed groups and attacks on government installations as well as security forces should be halted forthwith and government should turn a ear to the sane voices and launch a dialogue process with the dissidents and the nationalist parties as soon as possible, before it gets too late.

It is NOT difficult to fix the security situation of Pakistan if the current Government desires so. Unfortunately, it is supported by the enemies of Pakistan who want the disintegration of this beautiful country.
The separatists (ghaddars/rebels/defectors) are the people of Akbar bugti who wanted to separate Baluchistan so he could become the sole ruler and have total control over the country. The majority of the Baluch public does not realize that. They don't think when Akbar bugti or anyother Nawab was not good in his "jurisdiction", how could he be good as a ruler. They also don't think, after separation they will fall in the hands of USA and Israel who will exploit the resources of Baluchistan for their own use. Israelis/Zionists are enemies of Muslims whether they are Baluchis, Punjabis, Sindhis, Arabs or what have you.
The punishment of defector is usually death. Just like how Indira Gandhi murdered the leaders of Khalistan movement. Pakistan should put these traitors to death so that there can be long lasting peace. The powers of these Sardaars, Vaderaas, chaurdhry's should also be curtailed. They rule over their subjects with iron hands and are very oppressive. They are the sole reason for the backwardness of Baluchistan in particular and rest of Pakistan in general.

Yes Mr. Lover Pakistan I know that it is possible to fix security situation in Pakistan specially in Balochistan, U know today again strike and wheel Jam here in Quetta, and shops are closed, that are protesting again, taking out rallies and they say that we are AZAD and we need a separate home land. If they are separate they DIE WITH HUNGER, because all the wheat comes from Punjab (The Land of five rivers).
Yes it is true that their all leaders are vindictive, they don’t know how to behave with people, they just ordered what they want then it would be done.
Yes Mr. Lover Pakistan they don’t know about this that when separate they are on the fingertips of USA. The main reason of this is that they are uneducated, they believe that what their master of leader says that is right, some group in that BNP, BNF, BLA are making propaganda to destroy Pakistan, and one thing more they are communists and they don’t have any religion and when they attain their goal to separate Balochistan from Pakistan then they are die with hunger as I told u before.
There is a good way to save Pakistan id PAKISTAN ARMY. Because our PPPP government is sleeping, he just comes to collecting money and filling their pockets. Please Pakistan Army come and take control over this and then see no body can say they need AZAZ BALOCHISTAN.
May ALLAH Bless his rahmat to Pakistan and save Pakistan.
Pakistan Zindabad

I don't agree with your opinion of Army operation in Balochistan... as it will not solve the problem rather than making it more critical.. but the Balochistan youth can play an important role in making the situation better.. they should come forward and say no to such leaders who are apparently giving them leadership .. but in real how they can become a good leader by taking Guns in their hands.. then there is no difference between an Army Dictator and leaders like that.. they say that they are doing this for good of Baloch nation... I am not clear that how they are trying to do this.. they are only pushing the youth of Balochistan to a black hole where there is no way return.. being a baloch myself I strongly condemn all these words by our leaders on public TV channels.. we should work hard.. Only education is the thing which can make us the good nation.. not these guns and bullets... and one thing to remember that without Pakistan we are nothing.. and without Balohistan Pakistan is nothing.. so they will remain as it is for each other Inshallah.. and what USA and India are trying to do is will never happen Inshallah

India behind Balochistan trouble to de-stabilize Pakistan: Rehman Malik ISLAMABAD, Apr 22 (INP): Advisor on Interior Rehman Malik has warned that Balochistan is burning as foreign forces including India are aiding and abetting acts of lawlessness to de-stabilize the country. In a policy statement in the Senate here on Wednesday, Rehman Malik dwelt at length to the causes of law and order problem and said India and Afghanistan were providing finances and shelter to the elements like Brahamdas Bugti, who had in a recent interview openly stated that they want independence of Balochistan. Rehman Malik said in an interview with a Paistani TV channel, Brahamdas Bugti, grandson of late Baloch nationalist leader Nawab Akbar Bugti, did not deny receiving financial assistance from India, and has sought support from the UN and across the globe for independence of Balochistan. He said the killing of three leaders in Balochistan was a heinous crime under a pre-planned conspiracy to create resentment and uprising among the people there. He said the government will have to track down those behind the act. He referred to the acts of bombing and firing after the incident and pointed out that ordinary peace loving Balochs do not posses such weapons. He disclosed that Brahamdas Bugti along with 5,000 of his tribesmen is based in Afghanistan and there are training centres for them for terrorist activities. He said Afghan territory was being used by the enemies to create disturbances in Balochistan and said he himself met President Humid Karzai in this connection and sought his support. He said when UN official John Solecki was kidnapped, telephone intercepts proved that the kidnappers were in Afghanistan. Malik said the telephone lines of the alleged kidnapers went silent after the UN Secretary General spoke to the afghan President by telephone. He asked the Chairman of the Senate to form a committee consisting of Senators from Balochistan to investigate the matter and offered that intelligence agencies will be at the disposal of the committee for any information. He said who ever will conduct the investigations in to the killings, will be looked with doubts and it was essential to have this investigation to be carried out by the elected representatives from Balochistan. Rehman Malik, however, said that already a judicial commission and a high powered investigating committee under I. G. Police himself was going through the triple-murder case. He said one of the three leaders killed was Ghulam Muhammad for whom Iran had asked for extradition for his involvement in terrorist acts while another Sher Mohammad was originally an Iranian national from Chaha Bahar and got Pakistani nationality. Amid protests and pandemonium from Senators from Balochistan, over some of the remarks of the Advisor on Interior, he Malik said he was giving the facts to the house as demanded by the members. He said Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) was getting arms and finances from abroad including India and had demanded independence of Balochistan. He rejected criticism of any army operation in the province and said no such operation was going on. He said the government was considering the demand for re-introduction of Sardari system in the province. Rehman Malik disagreed that there was a law and order problem in Balochistan, but said it a rebellion by disgruntled people at the behest of enemy agencies. He however added that 99 percent of the Baloch people did not support this rebellion. “Ninety-nine percent of Baloch people still support Pakistan and raise slogans of ‘Pakistan Zinda Bad’,” he said. He said the present government was ready to apologize for the excesses to the Baloch people in the past. He cautioned that it is not time for doing politics, but for handling the situation in Balochistan and sought support from all the political forces in this connection. The Advisor on Interior said on the instructions of the President, he met Baloch nationalist leader, Nawabzada Hairbyar Marri, who is residing in London under a self-exile, and there were no case against him. He said there are thirty-six political prisoners in Balochistan and their cases are being reviewed. Rehman Malik appreciated the recommendations of the Parliamentary Committee on Balochistan led by Mian Raza Rabbani and said these would be implemented. “For this purpose modalities are being worked out,” he said adding that the government would accept all the demands of Balochistan except independence. Turning to the issue of missing persons from Balochistan, Malik said out of the list of 831 persons, 200 have already been traced and efforts were on to find out the whereabouts of others. On intervention by Raja Mohammad Zafarul Haq and Ishaq Dar of PML-N that he should not have named the countries involved in the conspiracy to de-stabilize the country, Malik offered to hold an in-camera briefing for the members. “I have facts…I can brief the house on what is going on in Balochistan…lets have an in-camera briefing,” the Interior Advisor said which was accepted by the House and the Chairman would fix the date and time for it.
