Train service likely to resume today
QUETTA July 27 (PPI): Pakistan Railways is likely to resume train service between Quetta and rest of the country Wednesday. Train service remained suspended on 5th consecutive day due to breaches caused by flash floods between Sibi and Jacobabad stations of Pakistan railways.
Meanwhile, repair of track could not be completed fifth consecutive day today. Breaches were caused in Notal, Bakhtiarabad, Damboli and Dera Allah Yar areas when flash floods hit the area following heavy rains. Special teams form Sukkur Railways division started repair of the track but it could not be completed yet. All the outgoing trains form Quetta were cancelled today. It caused severe difficulties to the travelling public.
