US Consul General meets PPO
QUETTA July 27 (PPI): Checking terrorism and criminal elements is bit difficult in Balochistan being the biggest province areawise and vast border area.
This was stated by Provincial Police Officer Malik Muhammad Iqbal while speaking with US Consul General William martin at his meeting at Central Police Office here Tuesday.
PPO said that Balochistan police was discharging its duty in limited resources to eliminate crimes and terrorism. It needs training in policing and investigation sector on modern lines so that it could mobilize its capabilities according to modern day demands.
US Consul General said that Balochistan police was very active against terrorism and crimes despite odd situation. He said he plans to train Balochistan police in investigation process and modern policing as in the past so that it could play its role against terrorism and crimes.
