Widespread Monsoon rains predicted from Tuesday to Thursday
QUETTA July 27 (PPI): Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast widespread rains in various parts  of the country Including Balochistan from Tuesday to Thursday.
A  weather advisery of the department said Tuesday that a low pressure system that developed over North Bay of Bengal Saturday is now located over Central parts of India. This low pressure system is now likely to move westward instead of south-southwest war. Under the influence of this weather system strong monsoon currents will start penetrating into Pakistan territory tonight particularly in Punjab and the intensity of monsoon currents is likely to increase from today.
Widespread rains/thunder showers over Zhob, Sibi, Barkhan, Kohlu, Dera Bugti, Nasirabad, Bolan, Jhal Magsi, is expected in northeastern and eastern parts of Balochistan from Tuesday to Thursday. Heavy to very heavy rainfall may cause flash flooding in the local rivers/streams of the province.
Maximum temperature recorded here Tuesday was 38 Celsius and minimum 23 Celsius. Dalbandin was the hottest station where mercury touched a mark of 44.5 Celsius. Sibi recorded 42 Celsius, Nok Kundi 41.9 Celsius, Turbat 41 Celsius and Pangur 40.5 Celsius.
