Two children killed in fireworks blast

MUZAFFARGARH, Sept 15 (APP): Two children were killed and three
others were seriously injured in a fireworks blast here at
Toheedabad in Qasba Khangarh on Sunday.
According to police, Muhammad Usama (12), Muhammad Kashif (10),
Sania (8) and Sonia (6) reached Muhammad Younis's house at Toheedabad in Qasba Khangarh to meet his maid Abida Bibi on Sunday.
During play, the children reached the second flour of the
house where Younis had stored fireworks. The fireworks
exploded as the children touched them.
As a result, Muhammad Usama and Muhammad Kashif
died on the spot while Sania, Sonia and owner Younis were
seriously injured. The injured were shifted to the Nishtar Hospital.
Three persons had died in a fireworks blast in the house of Abdul
Jabbar, brother of Younis, a year ago.
Police have started investigation.
