DPO Khuzdar escapes in attack

PASNI Jan 31 (PPI): Two police men were killed in an attack on convoy of District Police Officer (DPO) Khuzdar near here Sturday. DPO escaped unhurt.
According to details DPO Khuzdar Asghar Ali Yusufzai was going to Gwadar from Khuzdar today along with his family. When his caravan of three vehicles reached in Shadi Kor area some 20 Km from here it was ambushed by terrorists hiding in the way. They fired rockets. As a result a vehicle was burnt completely and two policemen Rehmat and Inayatullah were burnt to death. Two police were also injured in the attack. Policemen in squad also returned fire. DPO Asghar Ali Yusufzai and his family escaped unhurt.
Attackers also snatched their five official rifles.
On information security forces reached the site and cordoned all the entry and exit points in the area. DPO Asghar Ali Yusufzai and his family members were shifted to Pasni.
