DERA MURAD JAMALI(PPI): Sindh has stopped supply of water to Balochistan at the insistence of former President. Six lakh people have migrated from his district. To whom exploitation of the province should be revealed.
This was stated by former Prime Minister Zafarullah Jamali while speaking during visit of Inspector General Frontier corps Balochistan here Tuesday.
He said not only lawlessness and alleged corruption of irrigation is involved in destroying green belt fo the province but neighboring province has also spared any effort in this connection. Allegedly on the insistence of former President Balochistan water share has been stopped which was destroying lands and six lakh people from his native district have migrated due to lands destroyed by non availability of water.
He said he has informed Prime Minister of Pakistan and Chief of Army Staff that Sindh government was exploiting Balochistan. Sindh government despite repeated requests did not take any action. Prime Minister and Chief of Army staff should take notice of this and help develop green belt of Balochistan.
