Barkhan Police rounds up 23 absconders, 4 deserters

BARKHAN Apr 19 (PPI): Barkhan Police arrested 29 accused including 23 proclaimed offenders and six deserters.
SSP Barkhan Syed Muhammad Ameen told Newsmen that he formed a special task force for arresting deserters and proclaimed offenders. During March this task force arrested 15 dangers proclaimed offenders and three deserters. Durign current month some 8 dangerous proclaimed offenders and three deserters were arrested who have been lodged in the lockup. All these were wanted to police in different serious crimes.
He said this task force would continue to work by end of April. He said police was closing net around criminals and no one would be allowed to take law into hands.
He added that after operation against Chotu Gang in Rajan Pur district of Punjab, police and Levies have erected nakas and special patrolling along district border so that no criminal enters into our district.
He said police was striving for security of life and property of people and they should cooperate with the police.
