Levies recover abducted workers: DC

SIBI Oct 16 (PPI): Levies force successfully recovered four weeks abducted from Tulli area four days ago. All resources were being mobilized to maintain government writ, security to life and property of people and elimination of criminal elements.
This was stated by Deputy Commissioner Sibi Saifullah Khetran in a briefing to Newsmen here Sunday.
He said workers had gone to nearby mountains in Tulli area for under construction Chandia Dam in the area. Twenty armed men kidnapped 10 workers and took them to unknown place at gun point. Six of them were freed after some time but four Shah Gul, Zaroda Khan, Killa Khan and Awal Khan were taken away.
DC Sibi constituted a team headed by AC Sibi Samiullah Kakar and consisting of Tehsildar Naseer Ahmed Tareen, and others. Last night the team led by DC Sibi in a successful action recovered all the four abducted workers from mountains near Tulli.
Recovered workers told that their abductors gave them serious beating. They threw acid on their clothes. They did not allow us to sleep at night and they kept on changing their sites.
DC Khetran said owing to our successful strategy we have succeeded in recovering abducted workers safely and we have also recovered two tractors. He said we are taking all possible measures for maintaining peace and order and arrest of criminals. He asked people to cooperation with the administration for end of crimes and indicate suspected persons in time.
Meanwhile security arrangements have been tightened for the workers at the dam site.
