Iranian Navy captures 5 Pakistani fishing boats

GWADAR Oct 17 (PPI): Five Pakistan fishing boats captured by Iranian Navy from open sea near here yesterday remained in Iranian custody.

According to details five Pakistani boats were fishing in open sea near Jewani. Iranian Navy captured these boats and took them with them. Over 20 fishermen were also on board these boats. Iranians said these fishermen had violated Iranian waters.

A delegation of relative s of fishermen from Jewani some 70 km form Gwadar at Pak-Iran border, staged a dharna in front of DC Gwadar office here today. They also held a meeting with Dc and demanded for taking steps for release of their relatives.

Dc told that he would take up the mater with high ups. Protestors then ended their dharna peacefully and went back.
