ISPR directors visit Quetta Press Club
QUETTA, Oct 28 (APP): The outgoing director and new director of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Quetta Cant visited Quetta Press Club and held a meeting with journalists in order to further strengthen friendly relations between ISPR and media community.
The outgoing Director of ISPR Quetta Cant, Brig. Nayyar and new Director ISPR Quetta Cant, Brig. Nadeem along with Maj. Khuda-i-Dost reached Quetta Press Club where they were accorded a warm welcome by senior journalist and Central Senior Vice President of Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ), Saleem Shahid, senior journalist and President, Quetta Press Club, Shehzada Zulfiqar and a large number of journalists including bureau chiefs of TV channels, leading newspapers and news agencies.
Speaking to media community, Brig. Nayyar said that he has been taking with him good memories from Quetta. He passed thanks to journalists’ community for extending cooperation to ISPR in highlighting programs and ceremonies organized by ISPR Quetta Cant.
Brig. Nadeem said that media has very important role in highlighting issues confronted by the country and the nation. He said that emerging of electronic media has further increased importance of Pakistani media. He assured that he would help media persons in resolving their issues. “We are friends of media and we expect from journalists that they would continue their cooperation with us,” he said
