SIBI Jan 3 (PPI): State and Sardar are supplementary and complimentary to each other. There is need to give time to Pakistan with patience. We all have to get united for progress and prosperity of Pakistan.
This was stated by former prime Minister of Pakistan Zafarullah Jamali while addressing an impressive ceremony at Sibi Scouts Headquarters here Tuesday.
Former caretaker Prime Minister Hazar Khan Khosa, former caretaker Chief Minister Nawab Ghaus Bakhsh Barozai, IG FC Major General Nadeem Ahmed Anjum, Brig Amjad Satti, Brig Shahzada Shah Nawaz, MNAs Dosten Domki, Khalid Magsi, MPAs Jan Muhammad Jamali, Sarfraz Domki, Aamir Khan Rind, Majid Abro, Commissioner Sibi Division, Commissioner Nasirabad, DCs Sibi, Nasirabad and others were also present.
Jamali said this belt started progress and prosperity owing to mega project people started capturing it. We have to admit our mistakes. Owing to these mistakes Balochistan was suffering from backwardness. It was present prior to creation of Pakistan and we are living in Balochistan today. Our elders and forefathers gave us lesson not to chase chair but serve the masses. Chair would come after you. He said if Pakistani politicians do their politics without chair they would succeed. He said politics means service of people.
He said after Quetta, Sibi is heart of Balochistan and after Allah Almighty security forces are our guards. We need to give time to Pakistan with patience and tolerance. We have to give time to Pakistan for progress and prosperity.
He said his son was injured while serving in Pakistan Army. Had he martyred he would have been much delighted that his son has been martyred for the country. He said military leadership was keeping Pakistan strong.
Zafarullah Jamali said it is regrettable that one province has 128 MNAs and three other provinces have 125 MNAs. He said he asked Speaker National Assembly to take oath on Quran how true and patriotic we are but m\it was not paid any attention.
He said his family loves Pakistan and Balochistan. He said people should get their rights. If you would pay respect would get respect in return. We must trust in Balochistan because Baloch in the province needs dignity. Balochistan is province of peace loving patriotic citizens. Mega projects are needed here. We must realize our mistakes. If we seek forgiveness of these mistakes Pakistan can move to development speedily. We have to resolve our problems sitting together. Because there is pressure on Balochistan. Whether it is India or Afghanistan and anti state elements all were weakening our roots. We have high hopes in our young politicians.
He said security forces role in Balochistan for maintaining law and order is of great importance who have rendered sacrifices. We view security forces sacrifices with great regard.
He also put Balochi turban on IG FC Major General Nadeem Ahmed Anjum under Baloch traditions.
Speaking on the occasion IG FC Major General Nadeem Ahmed said Balochistan nation is patriotic. Balochistan development and prosperity is linked with peace. People should ensure cooperation with security forces realizing their responsibilities to make the province cradle of peace.
He said killing of innocent people in acts of terrorists our hearts bleed. There is need of creating awareness among the people for promotion of education along with establishment of peace and prosperity of people. Our doors are open to those mislead by enemies to way of terrorism.
He said foreign forces and enemies thought this project would never succeed but now Russian, Saudi Arabia and others countries desire to become part of this project.
He said bullet or baton is no solution to any problem nor terrorism has ever resolved problems. If gun is thrown away and pen is taken for progress of Balochistan and prosperity of its people then several problems can end. Pen is only mean paving way for peace and prosperity. He said Allah has blessed Balochistan with natural resources and people here are hard working brave having immense talent. They have fallen prey to foreign conspiracies creating hurdle dint he way of Baluchistan’s progress and prosperity. We all have to foil all conspiracies of enemies and pledge we would get untied for it.
