Captain, 2 jawans martyred in IED blat, Governor, CM condemn

AWARAN Feb 16 (PPI): Three army personnel including captain and two jawans of Pak Army were martyred and two others were injured in IED blast in Sub Tehsil Korak of District Awaran (Central Balochistan) Thursday afternoon.

Confirming the incident Deputy Commissioner Awaran Raziq Dilawari told PPI by telephone that a caravan of Pak Army was moving in Sub Tehsil Korak of Tehsil Jhao today. An IED blast occurred near the caravan in which a vehicle was badly damaged.

Three personnel including Captain Taha and two jawans Kamran and Mehter Jan received martyrdom while two jawans were injured, DC Awaran added.

Meanwhile Balochistan Governor Muhammad Khan Achakzai has strongly condemned targeting security forces in Awaran.

Expressing deep grief and sorrow over martyrdom of three security forces personnel Governor said their martyrdom would not go waste. He said for end to mentality based on terror we have to show mutual unity as a nation and individual so that these elements are taken to their ultimate result.

Balochistan chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri has strongly condemned act of terrorism over security force vehicle in Awaran today. In the mishap three security forces personnel including a Captain were martyred while their vehicle was badly damaged.

Chief Minister said martyrs have laid down their lives for the country which is a matter of proud for the nation.

Expressing deep sorrow and anger over the martyrdom of three security men Chief Minister said that elements involve din attack on security forces and deteriorating law and order situation for their ulterior motives deserve stern punishment. Those involve din cowardice attack would be taken to task at every cost.

He expressed condolence and sympathy with families of martyrs.
