QUETTA oct 11 (PPI): Pakistan Canoe and Kayak Federation’s Canoekayak National team has returned to Quetta after successful participation in the 15 Asian Canoe Sprint Championships held in the historical city of Samarqand Uzbekistan the.
The Asian canoe sprint Championship was organized by Uzbekistan Canoeing Rowing Federation with supervised by Asian Canoe Confederation and International Canoe Association hundreds of Man Women Canoe Kayak Athletes from 27 different Asian countries Including host country Uzbekistan participated in the Championship.
Overall most of the medals were won by Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, China and Iran. Muhammad Abubakar Durrani and Farhanullah Kakar Participated in the Junior and Senior 200m and 500m K1 Category and both had the honor to qualify the Semifinal In Fact Abubakar Durrani losse the event of K1 200M Jr with two seconds away from the final. The National flag was hoisted among the flags of participating countries. The technical expert of International Canoe Federations (ICF) Csaba Szanto gifted canoe paddles to Mohammad Abubakar Durrani on excellent Performance and appreciated the role of Abubakar Durrani ,Farhanullah Kakar.
Further on occasion Csaba szanto and Istvan Vaskuti ICF Vice President Praised Pakistan team leader Hayatullah Khan Durrani’s outstanding performance for development of canoe and Kayak Olympic sport in Pakistan they hoped that Under the Supervision of Hayatullah Khan Durrani Pakistani Players will soon achieve Medals for Pakistan on International level. finaly on arrival of Pakistan National canoeing team at Quetta airport the President of Pakistan Canoe and Kayak Federations Malik Abdul Rahim Babai, and V.C Haji Abdul Wali Khan Khilji, Abdul Ghafar Khanozai National Coach Aslam Kassi and Many Officials and Members Greeted the National Team with a Huge Celebration and Congratulated them on their Spectacular Performance in the Asian Canoeing Championships Samarqand.
