10 terrorists killed in attacks on Army, Samungli bases: IG

QUETTA aug 15 (PPI): Ten terrorists were killed by our security forces who attacked Samungli Air base and Khalid Army Air base here Thursday night.
According to official sources Samungli air base has been declared clear. Fight operation from Quetta International Airport is contusing as normal.
This was stated by Inspector General Balochistan Police Amlish Khan while speaking to newsmen after inspecting Samungli Air base and Khalid Air base here Friday.
He said when terrorists attacked these bases simultaneously our forces were high alert. This is why their nefarious designs were foiled and ten terrorists were killed on the spot. He said 14 persons including 12 security forces personnel were also injured in the attacks. He said security forces suffered no human loss. Similarly no plane or other installations were damaged.
He said terrorists attacked these bases simultaneously under a plan. At that time our forces were fully alert. In retaliation they killed 7 terrorists on the spot while three blew them. He said terrorists opened fire and also hurled several rockets.
Meanwhile DNA samples of 10 terrorists killed by security forces at Samungli and Army Air bases have been obtained which would be sent to Islamabad for test.
