Abortive bid to blow gas pipeline

JACOBABAD aug 27 (PPI): A bid to blow gas pipeline was foiled Wednesday. Police defused the bomb.
According to details terrorists planted a bomb with 6 inch dia gas pipeline supplying gas from Thul to Garhi Hassan in Tehsil Thul. Villagers spotted the bomb and informed the police. DSP Thul Syed Asghar Ali Shah reached the scene and called bomb disposal squad. It was defused.
DSP Asghar Shah told that it was locally made bomb and its wire was about one kilometer long.
