Electricity suspended from Guddu thermal power station

TAMBOO Sep 200 (PPI): Electricity supply to parts of Sindh and Balochistan was suspended due to technical fault on Unit 1 of Guddu Thermal Power Plant Saturday. Due to fault supply of 200 mg was suspended.
According to details a fault developed in the Unit 1 of Guddu Thermal Power Plant today. Due to fault 200 mw supply was suspended and several parts went without supply in Sindh and Balochistan including Kashmore, Shikarpur, Jacobabad, Sohbatpur, Dera Allah Yar, Manjhipur, Chattar, Mir Hassan, Notal, Manjhoti, Tamboo, Manjho Shori, Mir Wah, Khan Kot, Sikandarabad and other areas. It created difficulties for the people during hot weather. Business activates were also marred badly.
QESCO sources told that team started work to rectify fault and supply would soon be restored.
