BA passes 3 bills of Salaries, allowances
QUETTA Sep 30 (PPI): Provincial assembly passed three amendment bills at its session here Tuesday.
Deputy Speaker Abdul Quddus Bizenjo was in the chair who later adjourned the House indefinitely.
Provincial minister for Services and General Administration Department Nawab Muhammad Khan Shahwani put three bills Balochistan Chief Minister and Provincial Ministers Salaries, Allowances and Privileges act 1975, Balochistan Speaker?s and Deputy Speaker?s Salaries, Allowances and Privileges Act 1975 and Balochistan Assembly Members Salaries, Allowances and Privileges Act 1975 separately before the House. House Okayed them unanimously.
According to statement of objects and reasons after giving due thought to the present high cost of daily expenses during travelling, it is imperative to increase daily allowance of the Chief, Minister, Provincial Ministers, MPAs and Leader of Opposition.
Furthermore it has been decided that their discretionary grant of Chief Minister, Provincial Ministers, MPAs and Leader of Opposition be omitted. Therefore these amendments are placed before the House for consideration.
