Two new cases of Polio reported in Balochistan

QUETTA Nov 22 (PPI): Two new cases of polio were reported in Balochistan. Of these one was reported in Killi Tarkha on the outskirts of Metropolis and another from Chandni Chowk Khuzdar.
According to details two new polio cases were confirmed in Balochistan. One was 18 month girl baby Amna of KIlli Tarkha Quetta. The other was Shah Zaman resident of Chandni Chowk Khuzdar. According to report Shah Zaman was administered Polio drops still he fell victim of polio virus. With this number of polio cases has touched a mark of 14.
It is added here that during the past two years no polio case was reported in Balochistan. However a case was reported in July this year from Killa Abdullah.
Health Department sources have termed refusal of parents to give polio drops to their children a major reason for polio cases.
