Attaullah Shah Gharsheen laid to rest

QUETTA: The former Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police, Syed Attaullah Shah Gharsheen, who died in Islamabad the other day, was laid to rest in the Jable Noor graveyard here on Friday evening.
He was 76.
A large number of people belonging to different walks of life including the serving and retired senior police officials, government high ups, representatives of the civil society and others attended the funeral.
Earlier, his body was brought to Quetta from Islamabad the same morning.
His namaz-e-jamaza was offered at the Jamia Masjid located in Police Line after Asr prayer.
He was father of Syed Qurban Gharsheen, Syed Sajid Gharsheen, Syed Faizul Hasan Gharsheen, Superintendent of Police (Special Branch) and Syed Javed Gharsheen.
Meanwhile, fateha for the departed soul is continued at the residence of his son, SP Javed Gharsheen in the residential colony of Police Line here.
