Repair of damaged towers not yet undertaken

JAFFARABAD Jan25 (PPI): Repair of two towers of high power transmission lines could not be undertaken yet. These towers were destroyed by terrorists in Notal area of District Nasirabad Saturday-Sunday night.
Security forces and police visited the area and after sweeping declared it clear. But QESCO authorities did not undertake repair of these lines. Due to destruction of these towers, supply of electricity through 220KV transmission line was suspended in 17 districts including Quetta, Khuzdar, Kalat, Mastung, Sibi, Bolan, Pishin and other adjoining areas.
Supply in Quetta was resumed earlier during the day.
