5 killed in land mine blast

TAMBOO Jan 26 (PPI): Five persons were killed and one seriously injured in land mine explosion in Chattar area of District Nasirabad Monday.
According to details a Datsun pickup ran over a land mine laid in the ground in Chattar Police Station area today. As a result mine exploded and five persons were killed. Among those killed also included a Hindu.
They were identified as Syed Yar Muhammad Shah, Syed Qurban Shah, Muhammad Salah, Muhammad Ibrahim and a Hindu businessman Lal Chand. Another Syed Irfan Shah was seriously injured in the blast.
DIG Qamarul Hassan, DPO Saleem Lehri and others rushed to the scene.
Dead and wounded were shifted to civil hospital Dera Murad Jamali.
A probe has been launched.
