QUETTA Jan 26 (PPI): Commander Southern Command Lt General Nasser Khan Janjua while appreciating performance of ANF, FC, Customs, Police and Levies has said that they have played their role much ahead of their targets to check smugglings.
He said this in his message on World Customs Day observed Monday. On the occasion he burnt 29,5933 Kg narcotics and expressed solidarity with Customs Day. Collector customs Zahoor Akhtar Raja was also present on the occasion.
He said all the officials deserve commendations who played their role for checking narcotics.
General Janjua said burning drugs in higher quantity is good message for international organisations particularly for Pakistani agencies and people.
He said let us take more effective measures for elimination of narcotics so that a drug free society into existence and our coming generations are saved from this menace.
