Senate’s Committee on Federal Education and Training meets today

QUETTA: The Senate’s Standing Committee on Federal Education and Professional Training is scheduled to meet at 11:00 AM today (Thursday) in Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences (BUITEMS).
Senator Abdul Nabi Bangash, who happens to be Chairman of the Senate’s Standing Committee, would chair the meeting.
Other members of the Committee are: Senator Ch. Muhammad Jaffar Iqbal, Senator Ilyas Ahmed Bilour, Senator Muhammad Kazim Khan, Senator Babar Khan Ghouri, Senator Engineer Rashid Ahmed Khan, Senator Afrasiab Khattak, Senator Kamran Michael, Senator Begum Najma Hameed, Senator Haji Khan, Senator Haman Das, Senator Rozi Khan Kakar, and Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training, who is the Ex-Officio Member of the Committee.
As per the agenda of the meeting, the committee would visit the BUITEMS to examine the role, functions, responsibilities, scope of work, annual budget, its utilization, allocation of funds and future plan pertaining to the University.
During the meeting, the vice chancellors of University of Balochistan Quetta, BUITEMS, Sardar Bahadur Khan Women University, Lasbela University of Agriculture, Water and Marine Sciences, Lasbela, University of Turbat and University of Loralai.
Moreover, the committee would also review follow up / implementation status of the recommendations made by the Standing Committee in its previous meeting.
