Teachers, students ought to plant saplings, says Secretary H&TE

QUETTA: The Provincial Secretary for Higher and Technical Education (H&TE), Ghulam Muhammad Sabir has asked the teachers and students to plant maximum trees as per the space and availability of the water in their respective educational institutions as the saplings to be planted more than the capacity could become dry.
This, he stated while speaking on the occasion of tree plantation in the Government College Sariab Road here on Wednesday.
He stressed that every student and student should plant at least one sapling in their name. He said that although we plant trees, but ignore the fact that it is necessary to water them sufficiently. The trees are planted unnecessarily at some places, which are to cut later, he maintained.
The Secretary Higher Education on the occasion also mentioned that tree plantation cast pleasant effects on environment of the area. It is also a fact that there was good raining in the areas where there maximum trees are planted, he maintained.
The trees also help overcome the issue of environmental pollution, Ghulam Muhammad Sabir said.
He stressed the need to make the tree plantation campaign successful through wholehearted participation. He also said that the tree plantation campaign could be made successful only when the necessary awareness is created among the general public.
Earlier, he planted a sapling of Quetta pine to mark the tree plantation campaign in the College.
