NP to hold women’s convention on eve of Women’s Day

QUETTA: The leader of National Party and Member Provincial Assembly, Dr. Shama Ishaq Baloch has announced that the National Party would hold a women’s convention on the occasion of International Women’s Day in Quetta.
In a statement issued here, Dr. Shama Ishaq, who happens to be the central Secretary of NP’s Women Wing, said that different committees have been formed to make necessary arrangements for the convention.
The committees are included: organizing committee, finance committee and information committee.
The organizing committee would comprise: Ms. Sabira Islam Advocate, Ms. Tahira Khursheed Baloch, Ms. Kashifa Taj Gichki, Liaquat Shahwani.
Finance Committee: Ms. Farzana Raisani and Sumair Samalani.
Information Committee: Sumaira Shaukat Anqa and Ali Ahmad Lango.
The responsibility of the theme and logo was assigned to Ms. Fatima Khan.
Dr. Shama Ishaq Baloch said that the Party believes in empowerment of women. She said that we have to educate the women so that they are able to play their pivotal role in the society.
It may be mentioned here that the International Women’s Day would be celebrated on March 8 in Quetta as elsewhere in the country and the world.
All around the world, this Day represents an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of women while calling for greater equality.
