QUETTA: Member of Provincial Assembly, Tahir Mehmood Khan has said that every citizen has to play one’s role in making the province green.
He was talking to a delegation comprising the party leader Muhammad Ayaz Khan and others here the other day.
He said that it is our collective responsibility to keep the city and its environment clean, and in this regard, tree plantation can make difference.
So, we should take wholehearted part in the campaign being launched for planting saplings in the city and other parts of the province.
It may be mentioned here that Quetta administration had decided to plan some 2,50,000 saplings in Quetta district this year.
Effective steps would be taken to protect and preserve the saplings to be planted in the district, told the Additional Deputy Commissioner while addressing a meeting in this regard the other day.
Every department concerned would be responsible for care of the plants where they would be planted during the campaign, he stressed.
