JI on petroleum prices

QUETTA MAR 4 (PPI): Despite reduction in petroleum prices price hike is not being controlled. Islami Pakistan is way for solution of prosperous Pakistan. Reduction in petroleum is not at par with international standard. Government should make local government, district price control committees so that instead of photo sessions people should be given real relief and artificial price hike should be ended. Fairs of public transport, railways, air travels should be reduced immediately to facilitate the people.
This was stated by Jamaat Islami Balochistan here Wednesday.
It said unfortunate people suffering from poverty, price hike and lawlessness are also faced with shortage of bread. Government should keep special vigil on the prices of food items pulses, sugar, rice, ghee and tea and bring them to the access of people.
It further said to popularize education, paper, books and exercise books prices should also be reduced with immediate effect to provide relief to the masses.
Jamaat Islami said it would rid the people of price hike, lawlessness and worries. Unless there is pious and honest ruler no real change is possible till then. Unfortunately rulers are not sincere to give relief to the people and thus people have lost confidence in them.
