Cantt boards elections complete peacefully

QUETTA Apr 5 (PPI): Local polls process in Quetta and Loralai completed in a peaceful atmosphere. Polling started at 8 am and continued till 5 pm without any break. People participate in polls process with enthusiastically.
In Five Wards of Quetta Cantonment board there are about 28500 registers. Twenty two polling stations were setup. There was neck to neck fight between political parties and independent candidates.
Pakistan Army and other security forces made good arrangements for security. NO untoward indents took place. Polls results would be declared on April 28.
More than 400 jawans of Frontier Corps were also deployed for security during Cantt Boards polls. They were posted outside polling stations and patrolled in areas around them for security.
LORALAI: Polling in tow wards of Loralai Cantt Board polls was held in a peaceful manner.
There were four contestants in Ward 1. They included one from PMAP and three independents.
According to unofficial results Faiz Muhammad secured 196 votes and won the seat. He belonged to Ittehad panel.
In Ward 2 Independent candidate Muhammad Shoaib remained success. He bagged 136 votes
