QUETTA: The Deputy Commissioner Quetta, Dawood Khan Khilji kept on visiting the examination centers established in different educational institutions here in the metropolis.
During the visit, six photo state shops located nearby the exam centers and were open during the timing of papers were sealed. The owners of the shops were also apprehended on the charges of violation of Section 144.
During the inspection, papers of 35 students were cancelled on their involvement in cheating in the exams. Similarly, 40 mobile phones were also taken into custody as they were using the same during the papers.
The exam centers were visited in the Government Girls High School Railway Colony, Government Primary School Brewery road, Government Girls School Brewery road, Special Primary and High School, Inter Musa College, Railway Girls College, Islamia Boys College, Islamia High School, Islamia Model School, Government Degree College, Government High School Sariab Mill.
Meanwhile, the Special Magistrate, Syed Shafi Shah also took action against those involved in adulteration in different edibles. The specimens of the spices were also dispatched to the Laboratory for examination.
It was asked to the shopkeepers to ensure selling of quality goods and edibles otherwise action would be taken against them.
Meanwhile, the Special Magistrate raided on the plastic bag selling shops on Sirki road where eight shops were sealed.
The official sources further told that the district administration has also decided to serve notices to the private hospitals which are not having the parking facility and park the vehicles on the roads.
Similarly, the action is also being taken against the encroachments in different parts of the city.
