ANP condemns reported abduction of Shahbaz Khan Mandokhail

QUETTA: The Awami National Party (ANP) has condemned kidnapping of Member of Balochistan Public Service Commission (BPSC) and former Senior Member Board of Revenue, Shabaz Khan Mandokhail.
In a statement issued here by the provincial office of ANP, it was strongly condemnable to kidnap Shahbaz Khan Mandokhail. Mandokhail is a very respectable person and belongs to a honored family and tribe. The valuable services, he rendered in different capacities are obvious for the province and its people, the statement said.
At the time when a senior officer is kidnapped from a central area of the city then what would be the state of other common men is anybody’s guess, it was regretfully pointed out.
The press statement also referred to the kidnapping of a doctor from Killa Abdullah district. Whereabouts of Dr. Abdul Ghaffar Khan kidnapped from Killa Abdullah could not be known yet, it was stated further.
It also expressed surprise over the claims being made by the government about maintaining law and order situation in the province. The incidents of kidnapping are continued despite presence of the law enforcement agencies, it stated adding these incidents are causing sense of insecurity among the general public.
In the end, it was demanded to recover the kidnapped Shahbaz Khan Mandokhail and take the culprits involved to task immediately.
