UoB students spend ?Aik Din Pakistan Army Ke Sath?

QUETTA may 19 (PPI): A ceremony marked by Aik Din Pakistan Army ke Sath ( a day with Pakistan Army) was held at Quetta Cantt Tuesday with great enthusiasm and spirit of Patriotism.
Vice chancellors University of Balochistan Dr Javaid Iqbal, teachers, staff and large number of girl and boy students attended.
Commander Southern Command Lt General Nasser Khan Janjua was the chief guest.
Ceremony began with laying of floral wreaths at Yadgar Shuhada and girl and boy students showered flower petals on the yadgar.
Addressing on the occasion Lt General Nassar Janjua appreciated the national spirit of students and said we are peaceful citizens of an independent country and students are our future. Those raising slogans of independence wren to only misleading the younger generation budget also destroying peace here. Our new generation would foil nefarious designs of anti peace elements.
Students both girls and boys showed keen interest in weapons used by Pakistan Army and also fired from automatic weapons. Armed combat demonstration and Army Brass Band?s national songs also attracted attention of studnets.
Students thanked Pak Army for organizing the programme and desired for holding more such programmes.
