QUETTA May 25 (PPI): Nurses are worried due to non posting for the last five years.
This was stated by President Young Nurses Association Rubina Salamat while speaking to newsmen the other day.
She said nurses were working at very small wages in private sector for several years. She said government was making claims of providing health facilities in far flung areas of Balochistan while despite shortage of nurses in hundreds their eats are not sending to Public Service commission for appointment.
She made it clear upon the government that time for government?s attention has passed during their period of unemployment. She said during the coming budget seats of all the nurses should be sent to public service commission or they should be given diploma and relieved so that their future is saved from uncertainty. She said we do not agree for temporary appointment. According to government figures 944 Staff Nurses were working in the province upon whom work load is very much. In view of work load and no procedure for promotion a number of nurses have fallen ill. She said government should appoint one nurse for ten patients according to international rules.
She said soon a movement would be launched against cold attitude of the government.
