Govt.’s subsidy on flour hailed by Quetta local traders

QUETTA: The President of Markazi Anjuman Tajran Balochistan, Abdul Rahim Kakar and its other office bearers have welcomed the subsidy granted on flour by the provincial government.
In a joint statement issued here, they said that the people of the province would benefit from the subsidy on flour in the province.
It may be mentioned here that the Chief Minister approved the subsidy of Rs. 250 million on flour in the province.
The leaders of local traders expressed the hope that the bag of flour weighing 20 kilogram would be made available at Rs. 570 on subsidized rates instead of current Rs. 800.
They termed the official price of 50 kilogram fixed by the district administration ( Rs. 2025) as mockery as the flour bag of the same weight is available in the open market from Rs.1900 to Rs. 1950.
