No compromise to be made over health, education facilities: Rehmat

QUETTA: The Provincial Minister for Health, Mir Rehat Saleh Baloch has said that the government is determined to ensure provision of health and education facilities to the masses without discrimination.
We are not going to make any compromise over provision of health and education facilities to the people, maintained the Health Minister while addressing on the occasion briefing conducted for him on the development activities and provision of different facilities in the Bolan Medical College (BMC) here the other day.
Also present in the briefing were included: Focal Person of the Health Department and Member Provincial Assembly belonging to National Party, Ms. Yasmeen Lehri, Secretary Health Department, Noorul Haq Baloch, Principal of BMC Professor Dr. Shabbir Ahmed Lehri, besides others.
The Principal of BMC briefed the Minister and other concerned about the development activities continued in the College.
Mir Rehmat Saleh Baloch said that a particular mafia is opposing the ongoing process of reforms in the Health department. However, we are determined to continue the reformation in the department, he pledged.
He also said that implementation is being ensured on the projects of sustainable development in the Bolan Medical College after 40 years.
He said that the process of research happened to be the hallmark of any educational institution, which differentiates one from the others working in the same sector.
The Minister on the occasion urged the medical students to pay their full attention towards acquiring education so that they are able to serve the ailing humanity in future.
He regretfully pointed out that some elements want to execute their agenda using the students for their vested interests.
However, students should negate it and just focus on their studies and ensure attendance in their respective classes, he stressed.
Meanwhile, the Health Minister and MPA Yasmeen Lehri inspected the ongoing development work in the College.
