QUETTA: Three more shopkeepers were arrested on the charges of profiteering and selling poor quality edibles during raid conducted in Sariab area of the city.
The Special Magistrate, Ajmal Shah took action against the shopkeepers and handed over the arrested shopkeepers to the Sariab Police Station.
Moreover, the Special Magistrate, Muhammad Hasan inspected different bakeries located on Mission Road and Toghi Road.
He sealed two of the bakeries on not adopting the hygienic principles and poor quality of the bakery items.
Needless to mention here is that the Deputy Commissioner Quetta, Dawood Khan Khilji had instructed to the Special Magistrates in the Quetta city to take stringent measures for ensuring implementation on the official price list as well as ensuring sale of quality edibles.
He has directed to take stern action against those found violating the directives in this regard. Therefore, the similar crackdown would remain continued in future as well.
