QUETTA: Following transfers and postings have been made in the Agriculture and Cooperative Department here.
According to an official notification issued here, Naveed Ahmed, Research Officer (B-17), Directorate Agriculture Research (Water Management) ARI Quetta has been transferred and posted as the acting Horticulturist (B-18), Directorate of Agriculture Research (Fruit) ARI Sariab, Quetta while Mrs. Sajida Parveen, acting Food Technologist (B-18) Post Power Seed and Food Technology, Directorate Agriculture Research Quetta, Jahangir Ahmed, acting Oil Seed Botanist (B-18) Quetta and Shafiq Mazhar have been posted as the acting Wheat Botanist (B-18), Directorate Agriculture Research (Serial Crops) Quetta.
Meanwhile, the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Cooperatives has announced that the field assistants have been exempted from the condition of diploma for their preliminary recruitment in the Department.
This was announced in an official hand out issued here the other day.
According to the hand out, the exemption has been granted for the period of five years (2015-2019). However, the untrained field assistants would not be eligible for the annual increment without successful completion of the three-year diploma.
