Police force needed to be equipped with modern facilities: DIG Sibi Range

QUETTA: The Deputy Inspector General of Police (Sibi Range), Intisarul Hussain Jafri has stressed the need to equip the Police force with modern facilities like other forces so that it can tackle the law and order situation effectively.
However, there is also need for bringing more improvement in performance of the Police, maintained the DIG while addressing the Police Darbar in the Police Line Sibi the other day. District Police Officer (DPO) Sibi, Mir Anwar Khetran, SDPO City Circle, Noor Muhammad Barech, DSP Headquarter, Syed Gulzar Shah and others were present on the occasion.
The DIG Sibi Range called on the police Jawans to discharge their duties with dedication and honestly. Heavy responsibility lies with the shoulders of the Police force with regard to protection of life and property of the general public, he stressed adding that they have to fulfill that responsibility with extra passion.
He also called on the police force to maintain a close rapport with the general public so as to eliminate crimes with their active participation and wholehearted cooperation.
He said that it is high time to make the police corruption-free. The DIG Sibi Range particularly appreciated performance of the police force on occasions of the Independence Day and Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti death anniversary with regard to maintaining law and order situation in Sibi.
He commended that the police jawans performed well, which resulted in restoration of peace to the extent that no untoward incident was occurred.
The DIG was confident that the Police jawans would continue to discharge their duties in the same manner.
On the occasion, he listened the problems of the Jawans during the Police Darbar and assured to address the genuine ones.
Meanwhile, he also visited different parts of the Police Line.
