QUETTA: The Secretary Secondary Education, Abdul Saboor Khan Kakar has categorically stated that the teachers not discharging their responsibilities honestly as well as those putting the future of children on stake would not be spared.
He stated so during surprise visits of different schools in Pishin and Killa Saifullah districts the other day.
The Secretary Education mentioned that action has been started against the negligent teachers and the administrative staff all over the province. Those who are not working for betterment of education sector would not be spared at all, maintaining Kakar asserted.
During the visit of various schools, he inspected different classrooms and asked different questions related to the subjects from the students to assess their capability in classrooms.
He also checked copies of the students.
During the visit of Government High School Muslim Bagh, the Secretary Secondary Education expressed his anguish over pitiable academic environment, poor discipline as well as lack of interest of the teachers in studies of students at the School. He ordered to suspend Principal and two SST (Science Teachers) of the School and warned that similar disciplinary action would be taken against other teachers and heads of the schools not taking interest in their duties.
He on the occasion asked the teachers to complete the course of the students as per the syllabus and take steps for their capacity and character building.
However, during visit of Girls High School Balozai, the Secretary Secondary Education appreciated performance of the Principal and other teaching staff of the School and announced to issue commendation certificate for them.
He assured to resolve the issues being faced by the school in question.
Meanwhile, two inspection teams headed by the Divisional Directors Naimatullah and Munir Ahmed paid surprise visits of different schools in Ziarat and Killa Saifullah districts.
They carried out inspection of the furniture and the reading and writing materials purchased for different schools during the financial year.
While the visiting inspection teams suspended three absentee female teachers of Government Girls High School Urkas, Muslim Bagh on their negligence, they appreciated the performance of Principal and other teachers of Khannai Baba Boys High School and announced commendation certificate for them on their excellent performance.
